To keep your Literary Emporium jewellery looking its best please follow our jewellery care advice:
- Avoid contact with perfume or lotions, they will react with the plating and cause it to tarnish. Apply these products first then put on your jewellery.
- Keep your jewellery dry and do not wear in the shower or bath.
- Do not sleep in your jewellery. They're all delicately and lovingly handmade so are not designed to be worn overnight.
- A great way to keep your jewellery shiny for longer is in a ziploc bag or an airtight container.

We accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron and PayPal.

How much does UK shipping cost?
Delivery is FREE for orders over £10 and 95p for orders under.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Many of Literary Emporium’s items are handmade to order so will be dispatched up to 3 days after ordering. Your order will be sent using Royal Mail’s first class service and the turnaround time from order placed to order received is around 7 working days. If you need your order in a hurry please select the Express Two Day Shipping option at the checkout. This costs £6.95 and your order will arrive via Special Delivery in two working days. I think I’ve entered an incorrect delivery address – please can I change it?
Please contact us as soon as possible to make any amendments to your delivery address. As long as your order has not already been dispatched, we can amend this you. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for incorrect address details provided by a customer.
My order is a gift, can I send it directly to the recipient?
Of course, just provide the recipients address and we can send it directly to the recipient. All orders are sent without the invoice so no pricing information will be included. If you would like to add a gift message to your order please feel free to request this at the checkout.
I would like to return my item – how do I do this?
We hope that you love your item however but we understand that you may need to send something back.
All items can be refunded within 30 days of receipt of item.
Items must be returned as new and unworn with the original packaging.
Unfortunately personalised items and earrings cannot be returned.
Customers are responsible for the return postage cost.
