Founded in 2012 by Rio, Literary Emporium began as a love letter to literature. Fresh from completing an English degree, Rio combined a deep appreciation for classic and contemporary books with a talent for handmade crafts, creating the first collection of literary-inspired necklaces.
What started on a bookshelf has blossomed into a thoughtfully curated range of book lover gifts, including unique literary jewellery, bookish stationery, and reading accessories.
Over a decade later, Literary Emporium has grown into a family affair in every sense. Rio's partner Ian left his teaching career to join the business full-time, bringing expertise in operations and wholesale. Rio's mum, Mandy, works alongside them assembling products and preparing every order with care. This close-knit team means your order receives genuine personal attention.
